The independent Austrian company was built on the long-standing traditions and practical values ??of a family business dating back to its founders, Franz and Maria Voess.

Eisbär has been helping shape winter sports for over 60 years. Well-known ski stars such as Karl Schranz and Annemarie Moser-Proll or Marcel Hirscher, Anna Veit and Anna Gasser, who were born in the 1950s and have been outfitters for the teams of the Austrian Ski Association since the beginning, as now, are just a few of the them brought the international Eisbär brand to the world. Future generations of the Austrian national team will continue this tradition.
Today, Eisbär is more than an integral part of skiing. The international brand Eisbär is synonymous with outstanding knitwear – especially headwear – with noticeable comfort and visible quality, indispensable for all outdoor enthusiasts.

We have made friends all over the world and continuously expanded the Eisbär family, so we are full of pride and eager to do our best in the future.

We make the highest demands for environmental and social compatibility of our actions. The use of environmentally friendly and high-quality raw materials emphasizes this awareness.
In the future, Eisbär will increasingly use recycled materials, such as recycled wool or fleece from PET bottles, and is already 100% committed to not using mullsings for merino wool.

Eisbär's current collection spans over 2,000 options, including hats, headbands, gloves and accessories. Knitting is our passion, sport is in our DNA, and nature is dear to our hearts – this is reflected in every Eisbär product. Eisbär stands for a certain attitude to life and a sporty lifestyle.
